This morning, I got an email from a friend of mine, Charlie Hoehn, an affiliate manager for another company… and who has given me some great advice for improving my blog.
He wanted to ask for some help in getting the attention of potential affiliate/JV partners, because he’s had a bit of trouble getting them to actually join up and start promoting his company’s products.
So I decided to create another handy dandy (or handy ANDY) 5-min. video for you, where I critique the email he’s been sending out.
BTW… this isn’t an exhaustive critique, by any means, and I’ll be sending him more specific ideas, but this should give you a big AHA moment from the tips I provide in this short, yet valuable video.

Ah, you’re absolutely right. It needs to be a multi-step process, and I just need to get them to show some interest first.
What you talked about, and what I’ve failed to grasp until now, is the same principle with anything online. A person’s attention is constantly being pulled every which way, and anything that doesn’t get to the point quickly is going to get lost. By giving them a really low barrier that’s easy to jump over (“Who do I talk to? Would you be interested in hearing more?”), it can help lead them to the point I want to reach.

This definitely helps me. I am actually in the process of crafting some emails for JVs as we speak. This can be such a tough task sometimes because there isn’t always a lot of time to build that relationship.
I will be working on just getting my foot in the door and worrying about the close later.

My perspective on Jv relations is deep. It really all comes down to relationships and value. Even if you have the best product in the world but and not have access to the market, on the other hand one can have a crap product but could be best friends with one of the gurus.. and voila hey presto .. a super crap product appears on the market with everyone backing it. It only takes a few gate keepers to trigger such a domino effect. Once the smaller guys see the big guys promoting they all follow suit. With value one can just make the effiliate enough sales or have a poroduct that looks like it will convert well. There are guys in the industry who are brokers can arrange through their personal relationships a launch…
