My Blog “Strategy”

by Andy

I just wanted to point out something…

There are a million people who teach how to properly build a blog that results in a mass following of people who cling to your every word, and all I want you to know about that is…

I DON’T CARE!

As you can see, this blog is brand new, and even though I’ve made it clear already on my previous post and within my About page, this blog is for you, and I’m just using it as a way to get some of my ideas and knowledge down for your benefit.

Some people say you shouldn’t start promoting products on your blog until it’s established, because you may alienate those people by making them feel like all you want to do is profit from them right off the bat.

Some people say you should use certain terms in your headline, should use tags, should ping your posts, or whatever,  to get better positioning in the search engines.

Whatever THEY say, I really don’t care when it comes to how I should run this blog.

You see, I’ve already promoted a very valuable resource to those who optin on the right of this page, but even though I do stand to make a commission from any sales that might result from that, the truth is that I think that resource is KILLER TRAINING on what any of my blog readers need… help with maximizing their affiliate program. And I even provide a “naked” link if people decide to invest in the training, but don’t want me to get a commission for recommending it.

That’s cool. I’m just sharing what might help others, because it’s much easier to just have this blog that I can point people to than to always tell people, “No, I don’t have a blog on this stuff, yet, but SOMEDAY, I will”.

I’m not going to make a million bucks with this blog, and honestly, I’m too busy helping John with his company to do a whole lot with this blog beyond simply making posts from time to time, but I do think as time goes by, this blog could really help you if you’re looking to maximize the results you get with your affiliate program.

So that’s my strategy… I’ll post stuff when I can that I think will help you. Period. Usually it will be free info, but from time to time, I might point out something that costs a few bucks, but if you implement whatever it is I recommend, my guess is that this “cost” will ultimately be a profitable INVESTMENT!
