I suffer from the same condition that many aspiring online (& offline) business owners face… “Entrepreneurs’ A.D.D.” … and it’s responsible for confusing the bejeebers out of me all these years when it comes to WHICH opportunity to pursue. If you’ve been around the Internet marketing niche for very long, you know what I’m talking about…
Should I become an affiliate marketer, create my own infoproducts, buy & flip web sites, create physical products, create a blog, start a membership site, or what?
As a matter of fact, one of my very first marketing buddies, Joe Garris, dubbed me “the Professor”, because I was always busy learning & teaching others, but never DOING. We laughed, but he was dead on. He’s been known to call me a few other things, too, but I won’t go there.
Of course, I’ve been very happy with my position at Income.com, but it’s this experience that has made me privy to a vast amount of OPPORTUNITY and connections with successful people, and this has only fed my hunger to succeed.
Although there are tons of opportunities to choose from, the one thing that just seems to make the most sense to me because of how it correlates with my affiliate management position at Income.com (and because it takes very LITTLE of my time) is to simply share my experiences as an affiliate manager via this blog with those who want to maximize the results they are getting with their affiliate programs… and there are a lot of you out there.
As my “About” page mentions, I’ve considered starting my own blog for YEARS, and I think the thing that finally pushed me over the edge is my realization that my head is probably going to EXPLODE if I don’t finally make it happen.
Although I’ve considered writing about such things as family issues (I’m married with 4 sons), youth baseball (have coached for many years), general success (dime a dozen), my life (who cares?), and even childhood epilepsy (son has it), I realized that writing about something that I get asked about on a daily basis, anyway, makes the most sense.
I mean, you have no idea how many emails I get from people, how many people I meet at marketing seminars, and so forth who ask me many of the same questions about having a successful affiliate program. Whereas I usually just give people some tips via email or face-to-face, this has proven to me that there’s a need, and based on what others have said about my ability to help them, I feel I can help even MORE people with this blog.
I’ll be honest with you… I have no idea where this blog is going to lead you to, or even how often I’ll make new posts, but what I do know is that I’ll do my best to provide some insight into what it takes to have a super successful affiliate program, based on my experiences, conversations with other marketers, and the training that I take.
Finally, you get behind the scenes access to some of the things we’ll be developing at Income.com for the “Income.com Affiliate Program” that we plan to release in the very near future, which will combine each of our products into one affiliate program, and will include various tools for maximizing the success of our valued affiliates.
By the way, if you want more info about that new affiliate program when it’s released, simply register for one of our two affiliate programs, below, and you’ll automatically be migrated over to our new affiliate program once it goes live…
