I recently sent out an email that asked the (4) following questions…

1) Do you have a high-converting product or service that
sells well via webinar in the IM (Internet Marketing) niche?

If so…

2) Would you like to possibly get your IM offer sent out to a
list of over 140K, 10% of which are paying customers? (not
MY list… someone else’s)

3) If you have your OWN IM list, how would you feel about
sending people to a webinar that has an average conversion
of over $200 per webinar attendee?

4) Would you like to be sent emails like this, periodically,
that contain possible JV opportunities for you (regardless
of what market you’re in)… either as the merchant or affiliate
(or both)?

I made a couple BIG mistakes when I sent out that email that I’d like to point out right now…

1) I never should have told people to email me personally.

Look, I love you guys (& gals), but for goodness sakes… I got SLAMMED with requests.

Needless to say, I should have taken the time to set up a more automated response type mechanism, but the truth is that I simply wanted to get it out there… and I didn’t want to spend half the day setting up web pages and such if no one was interested.

2) My opt-in form was JACKED UP! (Errrr!)

I actually did decide to quickly put together a page that described the JV deal in #3, above, but the optin form (which allows you to join my “JV Deal Announcement List”) was set up wrong, and this created confusion among those I did get back to.

So I apologize for those two things, but you know something funny? That’s what happens, I guess, when you try to get a bunch of stuff done while you’re riding in a minivan full of kids on the way to your son’s ballgame, when you know you’ve got to have it in place as quickly as possible. :)

So How Do You Take Advantage of These JV Deals?

The good news is that my partner, Larry Sullivan, helped me realize what a dunce I was when setting up that form, and now that it’s been corrected, here’s how you can take advantage of these opportunities in 2 easy steps…

1) Check out this JV Deal and join my “JV Deals Announcement List” on that page.

2) Stay tuned, as I will email that “JV Deals” list with instructions for how you can submit info about your own products to be added to my database (hopefully by the end of this week if not a whole lot sooner).

NOTE #1: If you’ve already personally emailed me, I’ll definitely get back to you, personally still… but please, no more emails. At least until I get some breathing room. ;)

NOTE #2: If enough people are interested, I may create something that allows you to personally review the products/services that others have to offer, but my main goal right now is simply to see who all is interested in having me personally “connect” them with other products (to promote to your list) or other list owners (to promote your product to THEIR lists), based on information that’s made available to me as someone who has exposure to various offers and list owners.

The last thing I want to do is create a situation where people are putting up just ANY type of product under the sun. I want to make sure that what I introduce you to is top quality.

Oh, and by the way… if you haven’t already done so, join my main “AMI blog” email list in the form to the right, and you’ll be notified whenever I have some new JV attraction tips to share, either via email or on my blog.

NOTE: Video appears at the end of this post.

I’m often asked this question…

“What do you think about using Clickbank to run my affiliate program?”

The truth is that, while there are a few negatives to using Clickbank, such as a relatively high 7.5% merchant fee, limited affiliate management capabilities, and so on, I love the fact that you can game the system to work in your favor.

Besides, when you consider that Clickbank already has an army of affiliates who are eager to promote other Clickbank products, as well as the fact that Clickbank pays all of your affiliates FOR YOU, it may be worth the higher fees just so you don’t have to mess with the headache of paying out commissions, yourself.

Because a friend/client of mine approached me about this very topic just last night, I thought why not create a video that covers my thoughts on the topic by showing an example of a marketer who is CRUSHING it on Clickbank and how he’s set up a system for supporting and motivating his affiliates.

I also highlight a few of my previous posts that deal with the whole Clickbank affiliate management issue, and I end the video by sharing a sweet tool that will allow you to fully maximize your results of running your affiliate program via Clickbank.

Here’s the video, and be sure to let me know what you think…

ClickbankOne problem with using Clickbank to run your affiliate program is finding a way to properly stay in touch with your affiliates, motivate them to take action, and so forth… because Clickbank simply doesn’t allow you to do some of the things that you’re able to do when you run your own affiliate program through a shopping cart or standalone affiliate software.

However, here’s a brief video that introduces you to one revolutionary piece of software that will help you maximize your Clickbank-run affiliate program…

As mentioned in the video, I don’t care if you buy it through my affiliate link or not… just be sure to take a serious look at this software if you’re using Clickbank to manage your affiliate program.

Finally! My wife and I were finally able to take our little ones to see the much anticipated movie, “Toy Story 3″, a couple of days ago. I think we were just as excited as they were to see it, actually.

Besides the fact that we loved the previous two releases in the series, the truth is that there were some other factors that caused us great anticipation as the release date approached.

From news releases stating the release date of the movie, to teaser commercials, to previews at the beginning of other movies, and so on, those of us in the target market of these types of movies (parents of young kids) have been conditioned and warmed up to mark the release date on our calenders.

While the following circumstance didn’t have any personal influence on our desire to watch the movie, I thought it was a very interesting example of how much the motion picture industry incorporates both (1) joint ventures and (2) product launches into their marketing strategy…

Toy Story 3 & Frosted Flakes – JV & Product Launch Strategy

I was eating a bowl of Frosted Flakes the other day (they’reeee GRRRRREAT!), and as I was sitting there looking at the box, it hit me that I was witnessing a great combination of a joint venture and product launch.

All over the box, I saw different stuff about the upcoming release (it has since hit theaters, and it dawned on me that the marketing departments for both entities joined forces to accomplish the following mutually beneficial goals…

1) Sell more Frosted Flakes.
2) Get people fired up about Toy Story 3 release.
3) Get people to the Kellogg’s web site.
4) Redeem codes for Toy Story 3 merchandise.

Part of their strategy, I’m sure, was to produce TV commercials that showed this joint venture promotion (Toy Story 3 stuff on the box) as an incentive to get people to buy Frosted Flakes cereal.

Then, after buying the cereal, parents and kids are given incentives to buy MORE cereal in order to get codes to redeem for Toy Story 3 merchandise, which all combined, leads to more people being interested in – and reminded of – the new movie release.

In our case, we just happened to buy a box of Frosted Flakes because THEY’RRRRRE GRRRREAT, but seeing all the Toy Story 3 crap slapped all over the box definitely reminded me that I couldn’t wait – uhh, I mean my KIDS couldn’t wait – for the movie’s release.

So take a page from these two entities’ implementation of joint venture and product launch strategies, and create profitable relationships that can result in some big sales of your products & services.

By the way, Jeff Walker’s “Product Launch Formula 3.0″ will be released today. Go here right now to gain access to his 4 free videos, as well as his free “Product Launch Blueprint”.

You can also find out what Product Launch Formula BONUS I’m offering here, but whether you buy PLF 3.0 through my link, or at all, definitely study those videos, because Jeff’s the king when it comes to product launches. Period.

Take care,
Andy

That’s cool… I get that.
But the truth is that I’d be a complete idiot of I didn’t provide you with a chance to get this, [...]
